GREEN POWER WORLD CHAMPION MOTO2 WITH AI OGURA
The star of the weekend in Buriram is Ai Ogura, who, after securing pole position on Saturday, takes home the Moto2 World Championship title with a second-place finish in the race. An incredible season for Ai with the MT Helmets MSI team, a squad debuting in this category, where the Japanese rider showcased intelligence, strength, and consistency. Ogura brings the trophy back to Japan after 15 years; the last title in the intermediate category was won by Hiroshi Aoyama in 2009.

"We knew we were very strong, but there are a lot of slipstreams on this track. It was an incident. Now we’re focused on Thailand."

“The race was a lot of fun. When it started, I lost many positions, but then I found a good rhythm and caught up with the leading group. I was battling for the podium, but I went wide in one of the last corners and several riders passed me."
