“We achieved our goal of directly advancing to Q2, so I was excited and hopeful for the race. I had a good feeling with the bike, but two riders fell right in front of me, and I ended up in the gravel trying to avoid them. It’s a shame because I was fast. Apart from the race, there’s nothing positive to take away from this weekend. I’m looking forward to returning in two weeks to continue on this positive path.” 

“I’ve been ill all weekend, so it was very difficult for me here in Misano. I don’t really understand what happened. I did a series of tests, and nothing came up except great fatigue and a drop in energy. It’s all very strange. I gave my best in the race, but I reached the point where my main goal was just to finish. It was important for me not to retire to gather as much information as possible for next time. I’ll try to recover as much as possible to come back stronger in two weeks.”
