NEVER FORGET THE FIRST TIME: VIÑALES IN MOTOGP AND GARCÍA IN MOTO2 BRING GREEN POWER TO OLYMPUS IN TEXAS.
An unforgettable weekend in Austin for Green Power with pole position and double victory in the Sprint and Main Race for Maverick Viñales' Aprilia in MotoGP and victory for Sergio García of Team MT Helmets, who also took the championship lead in Moto2.
The Austin circuit, one of the most difficult and technical of the entire championship, is characterized by dry spots, strong braking and changes of direction, but also by a significant height difference of 41 m and a 1.2 km straight that shows the maximum engine capacity. A circuit that definitely tests the physical capabilities of each rider, and for this reason every victory is even more heartfelt.
In Moto3 our boys suffered the most throughout the weekend, but the Japanese Ryusei Yamanaka boosted our team's fortunes by almost coming close to the podium with an amazing comeback from the back. First world championship points also for CIP Green Power rookie Noah Dettwiler, who is showing us his growth.

"It was a great race! We were able to fight with the others. It's a shame because at one point I made a mistake and lost the group I was in. From then on, I really gave it my all to try and catch them, but at the end of the race with worn tires and no slipstream, it was complicated. But we're still going home with two points, which is great. We took a big step forward this weekend, and we need to keep working on it. Step by step, we're getting where we want to be. I'm looking forward to working with the CIP GREEN POWER team again in Jerez.”
"It was a terrible weekend for us. We were struggling right from the start... It's simply a weekend to forget. Now we're going to work hard to try to understand what happened and come back stronger in Jerez. Thanks to the whole CIP GREEN POWER team for all their hard work."
